Michigan Activity Pass (MAP) – 2013

Michigan Activity PassThe “Michigan Activity Pass presented by The Library Network” program is a partnership between Michigan’s nearly 400 public libraries and 60 arts and cultural organizations.  The program is designed to enhance the learning experience for people of all ages through books and other library materials, and to provide reduced cost or complimentary access to arts and cultural organizations across the state of Michigan.

How the Program Works

Beginning May 24th, library users with a valid library card can print a pass, either from home or at the library, to one of the nearly 60 participating institutions at the Michigan Activity Pass website.  Some cultural partners offer complimentary or reduced price admission; others, discounts in their gift shops or other exclusive offers for MAP pass holders.  Each Michigan Activity Pass expires within one week from the date it is printed.

Each library will have five passes for each of the participating organizations available.  Patrons may check out one pass per library card.

** UPDATE **
Michigan Activity Passes will not be available for checkout on Mondays and Wednesdays.  Passes that are checked out are valid for 7 days and may be used on Mondays and Wednesdays unless otherwise noted.
