MeLCat and My MeLCat will be unavailable on Tuesday, November 15 for a scheduled system upgrade. MeLCat will be available for searching but users will be unable to make requests or check the status of previous requests and checked out items.
Beginning Wednesday, November 16, MeLCat requests, checkouts, and renewals will be integrated into the user’s Orion Library account at My Account.
MeLCat allows Orion residents to request materials from a collection of over 176 libraries located throughout Michigan and have the items delivered to the Orion Library for pick-up. Some of the local libraries participating in MeLCat include Ann Arbor, Baldwin (Birmingham), Bloomfield, Canton, Rochester Hills, Southfield and West Bloomfield.
If you are not an Orion resident, MeLCat services may be available through your home library.
