Our technology savvy librarians will help you understand your eReader, tablet, smartphone or laptop. Sign-up for a 30 minute appointment between 2:00p-4:00p every Monday. Our staff can also assist with setting up an email address and using popular computer programs like Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Please note: one device at a time, multiple attendees are okay if learning on same device. Call 248-693-3001 to register.

Family Book Bingo

The Geek Club is a casual hang-out night for teens who enjoy anything from anime, comics, Doctor Who, video games, crazy YouTube clips and more! Even if you’re curious, stop by and meet some new friends. Snacks always provided and new faces always welcome!

16th Annual Preschool and Child Care Fair

Parents, are you searching for the right preschool or child care? Meet Lake Orion and Oxford area providers, ask questions, and gather information at this special open house. Receive a checklist of what to look for in preschool or child care, along with information on the programs that each facility has scheduled throughout the year. Drawing for raffle prizes will be ongoing during the open house.

Sylvan Learning Center will be at the library to give some quick tips and tricks about the SAT and then administer a full SAT practice exam. Students will receive their exam scores in 1-2 weeks. Please bring a snack and calculator; students are responsible to know what calculators are permitted on the exam. There is a $10.00 charge for this class and cash or checks made out to Sylvan Learning Center are due the day of the program. Register online.
