Friends Silent Auction

Saturday, April 22 through Saturday, April 29

Audience: All Ages

The Friends Silent Auction will begin on Saturday, April 22 and conclude at the Passport to Spring Gala on Saturday, April 29. Auction items include a bowling party, gift certificates to area restaurants and businesses, baseballs autographed by members of the Detroit Tigers, one hour of live musical entertainment at your event by George Sinnott, an Urban Air party, and more.

Passport to Spring: A Visit to Poland

Saturday, April 29 from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Audience: 21+

On Saturday, April 29 the library will be filled with Polish music, food, culture, and entertainment as we "visit" Poland for the evening. This the Friends biggest fundraiser of the year, and our goal is to raise $10,000 with this event. The evening will include a 50/50 raffle and silent auction. The proceeds from this event will be used to upgrade the technology in the library's Teen Room.

Tickets will be available for $35.00 at the library or online beginning on Monday, March 27. Tickets will also be available for $40.00 at the door.

Friends Gently Used Book Sale

Audience: All Ages

Come browse the thousands of books available at the Friends Gently Used Book Sale. Hardcover and large paperbacks are $1.00, paperbacks and all children's books are $0.50.
