Passport to Spring - Greece (logoThe Friends of the Orion Township Library will hold their sixth annual cultural fundraiser on Saturday, April 21 from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. This year’s event is Passport to Spring: Greece. Doors open at 6:30 PM.  Parking is available at the library as well as Orion Oaks Elementary School with a free shuttle service provided by NOTA.

Come enjoy music and dancing with The Levendes and KYKLOS Hellenic Society, Greek food catered from Mediterranean Station of Lake Orion, art history with Professor Susan Wood from Oakland University, language lessons with Mango Languages, travel education with AAA Travel, and more! There will be Greek art and pottery, a silent auction, cash bar and more.

Tickets for the gala will be on sale at the library and online from March 24 through Friday, April 20 at 5:00 PM, at a cost of $35 per ticket. There will be no ticket sales on Saturday, but a limited amount of tickets will be available to purchase at the door for $45 per ticket. Due to alcohol being served, guests must be 21 years of age or older to attend. Tickets are non-refundable. All proceeds support renovations to the Meeting Room at the Orion Township Public Library.
