In 18990, a guest would pay as much as $4 per day to vacation at the Bellevue Hotel, a lot of money in those days! Located on the island which bears it’s name, the hotel was famous for chicken, fish, and frog leg dinners and a popular place during Lake Orion’s heydey.

What happened to the Bellevue and Park Hotels on the islands in Lake Orion?
Thank you.

Hi Karen,
I’m not seeing anything in our newspaper archive about the closing of either of these hotels. You might try contacting the Orion Historical Society at https://orionhistoricalsociety.org/. They may be able to locate that information for you.
