Orion Area Chamber of Commerce

Downtown Development Authority
The mission of the Lake Orion DDA is to enhance the economic potential and preserve the historical character of the Lake Orion DDA District, the heart and hub of the Orion Community, through promotional activities and an organizational structure that focuses on community involvement with local businesses, residents, and other stakeholders.
Oakland County One Stop Shop Business Center
Oakland County’s One Stop Shop Business Center has experienced, skilled and successful business counselors. As an Oakland County business owner, you can access powerful business tools, data analysis and business services that can lead to long-term business success. Hands-on business and technical services are delivered by an experienced staff and network of public and private sector partners. Business consultants work with small for-profit businesses and advanced technology companies.
Library Resources
Individual Study & Small Group Meeting Rooms
The Orion Township Public Library provides individual/small study tables and rooms for informal groups to meet without disrupting quieter areas of the library. Study Room 1 can accommodate up to 4 people. Study Room 2 can accommodate up to 6 people.
Meeting Rooms for Organized Groups and Civic Organizations
The Orion Township Public Library has meeting areas available to certain groups as detailed in the policy below.
- The main Meeting Room is divided into two sections, each seating 75 people theater style, or 200 if both sections are used.
- The James Ingram Room can accommodate up to 35 people.
- The Youth Activity Room can accommodate up to 25 people.
Wireless Internet Access
The Orion Township Public Library provides wireless internet access (WiFi) to our patrons on their laptops or other wireless-enabled mobile devices for web and email access.
Wireless Printing
The Orion Library now offers the ability to print from anywhere with any Internet / Email enabled device and claim your print jobs at one of our public printers. Users have the option to send their print jobs by email, upload their jobs to the library’s Wireless Printing Portal, or use the PrinterOn mobile app.
Notary Services
The Orion Library offers free Notary services based on the availability of authorized staff. Please contact the library at (248) 693-3000 for Notary Public availability.
Public Photocopying & Faxing
The Orion Library has one Black & White / Color photocopier for patron use located in Adult Services. Adult Services also hosts two Library Document Stations, allowing patrons to scan photos and documents to email, smartphone, tablet, USB storage, various cloud services, fax, or library printers.

Gale Virtual Reference Library
Gale Virtual Reference Library is a database of encyclopedias and specialized reference sources for multidisciplinary research. Topics include: Arts, Biography, Business, Education, Environment, General Reference, History, Law, Literature, Medicine, Multicultural Studies, Nation and World, Religion, Science, and Social Science. GVRL does not support the transfer of titles to portable reading devices.
