AB-2008-27, Jerry Reis, 916 Highlander: The petitioner is seeking relief from Zoning Ordinance #78, Section 6.07 and 26.00 requesting the following variances for an addition: Note: property is located on a corner lot, therefore has two front yard setbacks. 1) An 18.9 ft. front yard setback variance off Highlander. 2) A 3.2 ft. front yard setback variance off Detroit Blvd. 3) A 21.8 ft. rear yard setback variance. Granted.
AB-2008-33, Gary Black, 662 Lawson Drive: The petitioner is seeking relief from Zoning Ordinance #78, Section 27.02 H.2 requesting a 6 ft. privacy fence on the south side yard property line. Postponed.
AB-2008-34, David Young, 195 Eastview: The petitioner is seeking relief from Zoning Ordinance #78, Section 27.02 requesting the following request for an existing pole barn and addition: 1) Requesting 904 sq. ft. detached accessory variance for a total of 2,304 sq. ft. 2) Requesting 888 sq. ft. additional total accessory variance for a total of 2,788 sq. ft. Granted.
AB-2008-35, Kroger, 3097 Baldwin Road: The petitioner is seeking relief from Zoning Ordinance #78, Section 30.07 requesting a Temporary Use Permit for seasonal items located in front of the store. Tabled.
AB-2008-36, Spring Hill Suites Marriot, 4919 Interpark Drive: The petitioner is seeking relief from Sign Ordinance #138, Section 8, Schedule B, GB-2 (7), and GB-2 requesting the following variances for a wall sign: 1) Requesting a 41.3 sq. ft. variance for the main wall sign on the south facade for a total of 161 sq. ft. 2) Granted. 3) Requesting 2 additional wall signs at 51 sq. ft. each: West wall sign – Granted. East wall sign – Petitioner withdrew request.
